Thank you for your recent letters in which you express
concern over your belief that our natural products are
manufactured in Montebello, California. Please let us
clear up your confusion and set your mind to rest.

The law requires that we show the address of our corporate
office on all our packages. This is so people like yourself
can reach us easily. If we were to put the location where
our products are grown, packaged, or prepared on the packages,
it would be very difficult to know where to contact us.

With regard to our potato chips, you can rest assured that
the potatoes from which these chips are prepared are the
finest potatoes available and are grown in the pristine
environment of Idaho where the air is clean and the soil is
rich. Once the potatoes are picked, they are rushed to our
modern facility where they are carefully washed in pure
filtered water, thinly sliced with the skin still on for
maximum nutrition, and cooked to a delicious crispiness in
pure vegetable oils like safflower or sunflower which are
the healthiest ones you can get.

So while our offices are in Montebello and there really
is no place called Health Valley, U.S.A., our foods are
prepared with ingredients that are grown in the healthiest
places in the United States and the rest of the world and
carefully prepared with your health as our greatest concern.
