"M&M's" Peanut Chocolate Candies and can appreciate your disappoint-
ment.

We believe this was due to heat damage caused by improper storage
conditions in the distribution system, and we are asking our repre-
sentative in the area to check into the matter.

Our primary objective is to produce high quality candy for our
consumers. All ingredients are inspected to make sure they are
clean and wholesome and meet our demanding specifications.
Careful measures are also taken throughout manufacturing and packaging. It
is disturbing, therefore, to receive a report that one of our
products has failed to meet our high standards.
